The Coney: A celebrity charity event with everything on it was created by actor and comedian, Marc Evan Jackson, in partnership with the Children’s Foundation of Michigan. After raising more than $2.7 million at the September event, proceeds will support youth arts education in two ways: through immediate grantmaking and by seeding the Endowment for Youth Arts that will provide grants annually for years to come.
The Foundation is excited to announce the first of those annual grant opportunities, supporting Detroit nonprofits that provide arts and culture programming for youth and young adults.
