Children's Foundation of Michigan

Together, we can do more

The Children’s Foundation of Michigan believes every child in Michigan deserves the opportunity to thrive. As a grantmaking and fundraising organization, we work to improve children’s health and well-being by addressing today’s most urgent needs while supporting solutions that create lasting impact for generations to come.

Our work is grounded in a long history of supporting children’s health, with roots that trace back more than 130 years through philanthropic stewardship connected to Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

Through the generosity of our donors, we advance what giving can make possible. We are building endowment to sustain impact over time, strengthening youth-serving organizations, and helping donors achieve their unique philanthropic goals—all to improve the lives of children across Michigan.

Our History

A legacy of caring for kids

Our story is rooted in a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to be healthy and thrive. Over the years, that belief has guided our growth, shaped our partnerships, and expanded our impact across Michigan. What began as a commitment to care has evolved into a foundation driving meaningful change for children and their families.
