Two programs are changing the way young people in Michigan experience mental health support

The Children’s Foundation expands youth mental health access with grants to BGCSM and SAY Detroit, helping kids and families thrive.
At the Children’s Foundation, we believe strong partnerships and innovative ideas help ensure all kids in Michigan have the opportunity to live healthy lives. We collaborate with community organizations—primarily in Southeast Michigan—to expand access to programs and resources that support children and families.
By investing in collaborative solutions and systems that create more opportunities for kids, we’re building stronger, healthier communities. Together, we’re making a lasting impact – giving every child the chance to grow, succeed, and thrive.
Our grantmaking is guided by our focus areas: Mental Health, Physical Health, Substance Use Disorder, Health Equity, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan Initiatives.
