Our History

In June of 2019, The Children’s Foundation brand was launched as the umbrella marque for the dynamic and evolving partnerships of our organization. As an independent and innovative foundation, we are channelling our resources to focus on wellness, prevention, research and the many social determinants of health that impact children and families. Through fundraising, grant-making and advocacy The Children’s Foundation enables researchers and community organizations to identify and implement innovations capable of advancing children’s health and wellness.

A FOUNDATION ON THE MOVE

The Foundation has distributed more than $80 million dollars in grant funding to community partners. Current areas of focus for The Foundation include mental health, nutritional wellness, abuse and neglect, pediatric research, injury prevention, and youth development.
