
The Children’s Foundation of Michigan is proud to welcome two distinguished leaders, Rachel Stewart and Andrea Brimmer, to its Children’s Foundation of Michigan Board of Trustees. Both bring a deep commitment to strengthening communities and improving outcomes for children and families across Michigan.
Meet the Newest Members of the Children’s Foundation of Michigan Board
Rachel Stewart serves as Chief Executive Officer of Gardner White and represents the fourth generation of leadership for one of Michigan’s most recognized family-owned businesses. Since joining the company, she has played a key role in its continued growth and evolution, expanding its footprint across the state while fostering a strong culture centered on employees, customers, and community. Stewart’s leadership reflects a broad and impactful career, including work with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Clinton Global Initiative, where she focused on clean energy and large-scale social initiatives. Her passion for service and community engagement aligns closely with the Foundation’s mission.
Andrea Brimmer is Chief Marketing and Public Relations Officer at Ally Financial, where she leads efforts to shape a purpose-driven brand that prioritizes customer experience and social impact. A nationally recognized marketing leader, Brimmer is known for her values-driven approach and her commitment to advancing equity. She launched the marketing industry’s first 50/50 pledge to support equal investment in women’s and men’s sports, demonstrating how business leadership can be leveraged to drive meaningful change. Her work has earned widespread recognition, and she continues to use her platform to create positive impact both within and beyond her industry.
